Overview

The Design & Arts College of New Zealand (D&A) has a long history of providing quality education that leads to employment in the creative industries. For more than 30 years we have been providing arts and design qualifications that focus on practical, real-world skills so that our graduates leave D&A work-ready.

We’re in the midst of a reboot and are returning to our roots; fashion, makeup and graphic design. We have brand new qualifications which we are enrolling for now:

Demand for our programmes is offset by the growth of the creative industries in New Zealand and worldwide. Experienced industry focused staff ensure that what the students learn here is relevant for the workforce which is critical in the current economic environment. D&A is New Zealand government funded (TEC) and registered (NZQA).

In New Zealand and around the world, opportunities in the creative industries are continually expanding as countries, industries and cultures seek to build on knowledge and innovation. From graphic design, and makeup to fashion, people who can apply a combination of technical skills and creative talents are increasingly sought after for their ability to deliver new ideas and designs.

Thousands of D&A graduates are now working as professionals in their field in New Zealand and around the world. If you are considering a career in the creative industries then we have the programmes to help you succeed.
