Awards Overview
The YDA trust (a NZ registered charity) in conjunction with the Design & Arts College of New Zealand (D&A) runs the Young Designer Awards; a major national design awards competition for secondary and intermediate schools students (aged 11-18) throughout New Zealand.
Every year hundreds of young people from across New Zealand are given the chance to create and submit items of creative work in competition with their peers in pursuit of the top honour - "Young Designer of the Year." The Awards provide a great opportunity to celebrate the success of our young designers at a national level.
